OUR BACKGROUND
Church Resources was launched in 1997 under the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference with the support of the leaders of Religious Orders.
The aim was to form a voluntary buying cooperative for telecommunications products and services, and other products.
In 2001, the Uniting Church and the NSW School Bursars' Association became partners of Church Resources. Church Resources' offers are available to all Church and non-profit organisations.
OUR MISSION
Church Resources is a non-profit organisation trust that seeks to:
1. combine the buying power of Church institutions and members to achieve savings and improved levels of service, for the purpose of increasing Church resources and effectiveness for the core mission activities of a religious, social and pastoral nature.
2. provide a national Church telecommunications infra-structure to facilitate Church participation in and contribution to the era of on-line and digital communication for the purpose of proclaiming the Gospel and building community.
